Discovery! Swedes make cardamom-flavored coffee!

And they buy it from Indiska, the Swedish store that makes all their products in India (I might be exaggerating, but that’s what all the tags say on stuff of theirs I’ve seen). Or at least, the bag I used at our office was from there.

But it doesn’t have to be! From http://www.kaffeinformation.se/Rad-och-recept/Recept/Kafferecept/Kardemummakaffe/, a rough translation:
“Crush a teaspoon cardamom seeds and add them to the ground coffee for brewing.”

It’s pretty tasty, actually. I made a pot for the office, and it disappeared quickly. One of my colleagues compared it to “dipping kardemombullar in your coffee, but without the bullar” — mmm, cardamom rolls.
